Meet the Chefs

Home Cooking with Purpose.

Savor was founded by two lifelong home cooks, Namrata and Riku, who share a deep passion for both traditional and global cuisine—and a growing commitment to a more sustainable way of living. Their culinary journey began in their family kitchens, where they learned time-honored techniques passed down through generations.

With over 50 years of combined experience, they’ve spent countless hours experimenting with classic recipes, adding their own creative twists, and crafting rich, comforting meals using simple, everyday ingredients. Their classes are rooted in Indian culinary traditions while also exploring global and fusion recipes that celebrate the diversity of plant-forward, vegetarian cooking.

For Namrata and Riku, cooking has always been a way to connect, share, and unwind. Through Savor, they bring that same warmth to others—offering approachable, flavorful meals that not only nourish the body, but also support the planet. Their mission is to help more people discover how joyful, delicious, and impactful plant-forward cooking can be.

"Gained exposure and appreciation for ethnic culinary diversity and traditions. Having taken the first class with these instructors I wanted to take another class from them. They are fantastic, personable, knowledgeable, prepared, organized with good time management."

"The class (in Eden Prairie) was very hands-on, and the teachers were passionate and had tips for making Indian cuisine approachable for all levels."

"This was a great class. I’ve never been a cook as cooking for one seemed too time consuming. This class, however, showed me that cooking good food doesn’t take a long time and you can easily make a large amount and put the rest in the freezer for another time. I am looking forward to attending their other classes."

"The teachers were great!!! I will definitely take classes from these two again. Right amount of demonstration and participation."

"Gained confidence to expand my cooking into Indian food - I really enjoyed the Indian cooking class. I learned to make two delicious dishes, discovered where to shop for authentic ingredients, and picked up some great new techniques along the way."
